🎧 Finding the Music in Me — Summer 2025

After releasing my poetry into the world in the spring of 2025, I found myself drawn to music not as a performer, but as a translator of feeling.I didn’t know much at first. I still don’t really but I go based off my heart and feelings.

I have slowly began experimenting—on Suno—trying out melodies, learning what sounds good (and what doesn’t), and discovering how my words could live inside songs.

I have started to teach myself:

  • How to describe a song’s mood, genre, and instruments

  • How to shape a verse, find a hook, write a bridge, and end with an outro

  • How a single poem could spark an entire soundscape

This isn't about becoming a singer or performer. Trust me, that's not going to work. My end goal is to find vocalists and musicians who will take my songs and make them their own. I want to hear my lyrics soar in new and amazing ways! In the meantime, I am having fun and learning some new skills along the way.

🎵 LISTEN WHILE YOU READ

Let these songs accompany you as you explore.
Press play, and let the lyrics and poetry meet you right where you are—
in the quiet, the ache, or the bloom.

Your story is welcome here. 💜

FEATHERS & FLAME

These songs rise from the ashes of sorrow and the softness of grace.
Feathers & Flame is a collection rooted in faith, healing, and quiet strength—
where the tender meets the powerful,
and every lyric becomes a prayer or a spark.

They carry the ache, the hope, the surrender,
and the fierce beauty of rising again.

ASH & DAWN

A collection of songs shaped by ache and arrival—
the grief we don’t always name,
and the light we never stopped hoping for.

These melodies carry the voice of becoming.
Soft. Strong. S
till healing.
Still here.
